You Can Help!
There are so many ways you can help the children we serve!
Volunteer
SNAFU is a 100% volunteer organization. All donations and proceeds from fundraisers go directly to helping children with disabilities. This means we always are in need of volunteers. Whether you serve on the Board of Directors or stuff envelopes, WE NEED YOU!
Currently, the following volunteer positions are most needed:

Outreach Coordinator -- This position will be responsible for seeking out outreach opportunities at health fairs, neighborhood festivals and similar venues. The Outreach Coordinator will work closely with the President to complete the necessary registration paperwork, obtain necessary marketing materials provided by SNAFU, staff the booth on the day of the event, etc. |

Marketing Coordinator -- This position will be responsible for seeking out no- and low-cost marketing opportunities such as making media contacts to present press releases and encourage newspaper articles to be written, locating community publications that are low- or no-cost, distributing flyers for various events and generally positioning SNAFU in front of special-needs families. |

Fundraising Coordinator -- This position will be responsible for executing various fundraising events. This person will work closely with both the Marketing Coordinator and the Outreach Coordinator to advertise the fundraising events. |
Volunteers other than these positions are always needed. If you have the time, we can make it count! All of these positions are voluntary, but any expenses will be reimbursed by SNAFU. No experience is necessary except a desire to improve the lives of children with disabilities. For more information, please contact valleysnafu@verizon.net.

Other Ways to Help
If you know of a family you would like to help directly, refer them to us. We can offer support, guidance, education and more. You can also help the family by offering to baby-sit even for an hour. Parents of special-needs children are often exhausted and even a short time away can mean so much! For more ways how you can help in your particular situation, please contact us.
